Hanoi – Ninh Binh – Halong Bay – Hoi An – Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Saigon) – Mekong
You will be picked up at Noi Bai Airport and taken to your hotel. Afterwards, your guide will take you to explore the Old and French Quarters.
Morning: We visit Temple of Literature, One Pillar pagoda, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and house on stilts.
Afternoon: Explore the museum of Ethnology or your chosen museum and Hoa Lo prison.
At 9 am, you will take a 2-hour drive to Hai Phong marina for the cruise trip in the fantastic bay. Beside traveling through the amazing limestone islands, you will have chance to do interesting activities including visiting a cave, kayaking and swimming. Stay overnight onboard.
Cruise to further explore the bay before disembarking around 12 o’clock. Drive (approx.3 hours) to Ninh Binh which is considered as “Halong bay on land”. Late afternoon, take a cycling/walking tour through scenic routes.
Travel to Trang An Landscape Complex where you will spend a couple of hours on a row-boat traveling through several tunnels. Afterwards, drive to the airport for one-hour flight to Danang. On arrival, you will be picked up and taken to the hotel in Hoi An.
Morning: Your guide will take you to explore the World Heritage Site of Hoi An which is an excellent example of an ancient trading port . The rest of your day is at your leisure.
Transfer to Danang. Take a one-hour flight to Saigon. Afterward, visit Saigon Notre-Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office and War remnant Museum.
Take a 2 hour drive to Cai Be where you start to explore the Mekong. Stop by a local workshop to see how to make coconut candy, pop rice. Visit a fruit garden and enjoy local fruit with local show. Take a sampan to discover local life along small canals.
Relax or stroll around your surroundings before the driver takes you to the airport for your flight. End of Vietnam Private Tour.
