Welcome to South Vietnam Tour. Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat airport, our representative will pick up and transfer you to your hotel which is in the city center. Rest of your day is at leisure to relax after your long flight.
Today, you will take a guided Saigon tour to explore the most popular spots including Saigon Post Office, Notre Dame Catholic Church, Independence Palace and War Remnant Museum.
Early morning, we will drive to visit Cu Chi, the historic tunnels built during Vietnam war. Here your guide will escort you to discover the magnificent complex of Tunnels with interesting activities such as walking and crawling through narrow tunnels, exploring secret trapdoors and underground kitchens, trying cassava, a common dish for guerrillas and local people here during the war.
After your breakfast, we leave Saigon and travel to Cai Be town. On arrival, we will get on a local boat for a tour of Mekong exploration. The trip offers lots of exciting activities such as visiting a coconut factory, villages, traveling by a row-boat along river streams and enjoying local food with a local music show.
Early morning cycling tour is optional. Afterwards, we check out and continue to explore further by boat on the biggest river in Vietnam. Stop over to visit floating farms, brick kiln and local market before disembarkation. Our driver will then take us Saigon or the airport for your flight depending on your schedule. → War Remnant museum opens in 1975 displaying photos, objects and information about the effects of Agent Orange, other chemicals and explosive.
→ Cu Chi Tunnels is an amazing network underground in Cu Chi district 70 km southwest of Ho Chi Minh City. The tunnel system was constructed by local people and communist guerrillas.
→ Mekong river flows through several countries. Vietnam Mekong is the substantial portion which makes the biggest delta for cultivation in Vietnam.
