Hoa Lu, former capital of Vietnam
Ninh Binh Tour starts from Hanoi Capital. After a two-hour drive, we arrive in Hoa Lu former capital. Here we will visit two royal temples built in 11th century. You can then climb up over 265 steps to the top of Ma Yen Mountain which offers you a great panorama of countryside.

Thung Nham Bird Sanctuary
After lunch at local restaurant, we will take a walk or cycling tour through the countryside which offers spectacular scenery. Stop on the way to visit Bich Dong pagoda. Afterwards, we will explore Thung Nham Bird Park and take a rowboat through Hang But, one of the most beautiful caves in Ninh Binh. Return to Hanoi in late afternoon.

Attractions on the trip
→ Bich Dong is a beautiful pagoda established in 15th century and lies partly in a limestone cave and partly alongside of the mountain.
→ Thung Nham Bird Park is an ecosystem zone where is home to several types of birds. Lots of things are available here such as taking a row-boat through beautiful caves, walking/cycling around and watching birds.
→ Hoa Lu was the national capital a thousand years ago. This is a nice place where lots of people come in honor of the kings who rules Vietnam from 968 to 1010.
